Ethos, Pathos and Logos are modes of persuasion used to convince audiences. They are also referred to as the three artistic proofs (Aristotle coined the terms), and are all represented by Greek words.

About Mary Russell

Mary Russell

My first memories of learning started at age three and a half when I made my first doll dress. My Mother cut the pattern for me, showed me how to thread a needle and how to make a straight stitch first then a back stitch, after that I was on my way. I made a dress and wore it to school in the second grade. My Mother didn't allow me to use the sewing machine because she was afraid I would sew my finger. I took the opportunity to make the the dress while she was in the hospital having my brother, I was allowed to use the machine after that. Most of my skills are self taught, In 1960 with 4 children under four and a half Years old, I started sewing, designing, pattern drafting, clothing construction and altering in my home studio....
